Hello and Welcome!

Ashley Caples LMFT

Smiling woman with long blonde hair wearing a purple top and a necklace.

Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, or one of life’s many transitions, I’m eager to assist you.  With a warm and empathetic approach, I create a safe and non-judgmental space for each of my clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. As an LGBTQ+ affirmative therapist, I am committed to providing a supportive and validating environment for individuals who are discovering their gender identity and sexual orientation. My goal is always to work to help my clients develop the resilience and coping skills they need to thrive.

I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and work closely with my clients to develop a personalized treatment plan that meets their unique needs and goals. I'm accepting new clients and would love to get you scheduled today! You are welcome to reach out to me by phone but you will typically get a quicker response by email.

I received a Master of Arts degree in marriage and family therapy from University of Mobile and have been practicing along the gulf coast ever since. I have been in the field for 7 years and dreamt of opening Daylight Therapy for the majority of those years. I would be honored to be a part of your mental health journey and look forward to hearing from you.

When I’m not in session, I am typically spending time with my husband and our three dogs (Crosby, Storm, and Olive.) I also spend much of my free time reading, binging a new show, or going to the movies (please, give me your book, show, and movie recommendations!)
